Our classes focus on salsa rueda de casino, which is a type of Cuban salsa danced in a group that moves around in a circle. It is fun, energetic, exiting and comes from Havana. We use the similar approach for teaching Bachata so everyone will have a chance to dance with different people with different experience. It is also a way to get to know new people and who knows, maybe make new friends for life!

It sounds unusual, but even though I am mexican, I was not interested in dancing at all until I moved to Denmark. When I moved to Copenhagen I learned about the drop in system in Salsa4Water, which suited me best. I literally learned to dance with them and also really liked the principle of teaching in exchange of donation to water projects. Now I am involved in the salsa and bachata projects and continue trying my best to help this awesome community that grows and becomes like a family of sorts!

I joined the 4Water family as a volunteer in 2017 and I haven't looked back since. Personally I love salsa, Syrah and short bios 😀

Dancing in Copenhagen and with 4Water since 2018. Grew up with the sounds of Puerto Rican timbales and Celia Cruz's calling "Azúcar", which still make my feet going crazy to the present day.
4Water has become my family in Copenhagen, and I am truly excited to be part of an impact-driven team.

Originally from Estonia, where I quite randomly developed my first interest for salsa dancing.
But joining 4Water in 2017 in Copenhagen really got to me - it’s not only lots of dancing and working towards a good cause but the friendships and community (you could call it a family 😉) which make Copenhagen feel like home now!
